Soldier Field

Home of the Chicago Bears since 1971, the stadium is somewhat controversial.  In 2003, a major renovation was completed that has the stadium looking like a spaceship landed on old roman columns.  The look is odd and makes some strange photos.  The field itself is a pretty standard football field.  However, the old outer walls and colonnades are very cool and give some unique photo opportunities.  Two new statues at the south end (Payton and Halas) are great for every Bears fan.  It’s basically on the museum campus, next to the Field Museum, so it’s worth walking around to photograph.
